Directions-Students will be expected to view existing examples of poems,via their laptop computers,created by professional writers, as well as student writers, and select a 'genre' that would suit their own personal tastes.Working,with their laptops in dyads, or alone, student writers will create/design a poem that reflects their personal style. Poems can either have a 'rhyme scheme,'ex.aabb, abab,abcabc etc..,or poetic license can be used..Poems must be 10-20 lines in length, and have at least -7- words per each line..Poems must have a title,definable topic, and show progression of theme..Chronological, spacial, or order of importance may be used to enhance your products.
